I made a thing for tumblr (although it's been resized for that site). The maximum upload size on tumblr for GIFs is 1 mb, aka 1024 kb. How big is this GIF, might you ask? It's only 760 kb. By utilizing steps used to making cinemagraphs, I'm able to make a high resolution GIF without a wildly huge file size.
